Dublin, 07 September 2022 – Spring Insure, the only financial lines MGA in Ireland, has appointed Shane Barry as Senior Underwriter. Shane will report to Patrick Mettler, Managing Director of the European business and specialises in professional indemnity, cyber, tech and media products. This appointment follows Spring’s authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) and Lloyd’s coverholder status in Ireland, opening its doors to Irish and European business.
Shane joins Spring from Hiscox Ireland and has spent over 20 years’ working in the professional lines sector. Prior to Hiscox, he held the position of Specialty Insurance Manager, Ireland at Chubb Insurance.
