London, 03 March 2023 – Spring Insure, the specialist financial and professional lines MGA, continues to invest in talent with key underwriting promotions Spring Insure continues its commitment to investing in its underwriting talent with the promotion of Jamie Boyd and Tom Hodgson to the role of Senior Underwriter. Both are based in the Group’s Guernsey office. In addition, Jacob Gunn continues his career journey at the Group’s London office by progressing to Assistant Underwriter.
Jamie is an underwriter with over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry. He started as an underwriter with Spring Insure in March 2020 after careers as a Personal Lines broker and a Business Development Executive managing commercial clients for Rossborough.
Tom joined Spring Insure in April 2020 and has become a well-respected and knowledgeable underwriter. He has previously held account handler roles with Willis Towers Watson and Gallagher.
Jacob started with Spring Insure in October 2021 as an assistant to the underwriting team in London. Over the past 18 months, he has worked his way up to the role of Assistant Underwriter where he will be taking greater responsibility for a number of his own relationships under the guidance of the underwriting team.
The MGA has ambitious plans to further grow its product lines and add to its team of dedicated specialist underwriters – a key aim for new CEO, Tristan Sargeaunt in 2023. The company prides itself on its entrepreneurial spirit and provides exciting opportunities for those who join.
